Below you’ll find answers to the questions we get asked most about our tours.
How long is the Tour?
The Half-Day tour is 4 hours and the Full-Day 6.
What are the payment deadlines?
Before each tour we request a holding deposit and then on the day you can pay Angelo the tour balance.
Can I be picked up and dropped off in different places?
Yes, Parma vicinity Pick Up/Drop Off is organised for each individual tour. We have very clear map links to guide you there. Contact us to make sure this is added to your booking.
Can we choose who we share the tour with?
Grouped tour allocations are based on small group numbers as we aim to make sure all tours are below 6 people. You can put in a request to not share , but it is not always guaranteed in high season – just ask us and we’ll carift availability.
Can I put a bag in a driven hire car ?
Yes – subject to confirmation: passengers must accompany their belongings for security reasons. If baggage is required then the owner of the bag will need to organise weights and sizes prior to the tour.
Do we get tastings and is lunch included?
We do lavish you with tastings at each tour location and Lunches are so varied at the trattoria we don’t include in the package cost.
How do we add on custom destinations etc?
You can let us know any special features and we will look into setting these up either as part of the day or as an extra follow on tour.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of people that can sign up?
There is no minimum number for joining one of our tours. If travel is included then you will need to check minimum numbers in the trip details that you have been provided. Our Maximun single group is usually around 8-9 but let Angelo or Nick know in advance.
Maximum numbers are 6-8 and Angelo will confirm this as you book. Many of our Tours do sell out, so it is important that you pay deposits as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
We may need to add someone last minute can this happen?
There is no reason why not as long as they are with you at the meet point location. In order to avoid delays we need to be absolutely sure about last minute changes 48 hour before you tour.
Cancellation of tour
Our deposit can be returned if your cancelation is over 1 week in advance. After that date your deposit becomes non-refundable.
Allergies: I don’t want to eat certain foods, what else can I do on one of your trips?
All trips are different so you would be best informed by contacting us as you start your booking. Our lunch destinations can be made aware of preferences with advance notice and they do have Gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options.
